Review 2: Singh is Kinng

And there it is: yet another critic-proof film that the audience has pre-decided to like, such that you imagine them displaying the relevant finger to those who disagree.
Good Luck

The actors are a crashing disappointment. Aryeman doesnt have the charisma and presence to hold a film. Theres a desperate attempt to steam up Bhagats image but the sensuous song hardly makes you feel sexy.
Singh is Kinng

Just a word of caution before you watch this film: Singh is Kinngis not for the intellectuals or those pretending to be one. It's not for the hard-nosed critics either.
Ugly Aur Pagli

Conspicuously the films two main draws remain: Mallika Sherawat in red boots with devil horns emerging from her mass of wild hair; and the title promising a fresh, edgily funny story. I wouldnt blame you for expecting more, but this is it, honestly.
Ugly Aur Pagli

Ugly Aur Pagli is a bizarre and uncanny title. However, it's catchy and attracts instant attention at the same time. It's for this reason that you expect the film to be one wacky ride - promising 99 slaps and 1 kiss.
Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam (Music Review)

Now this one may turn out to be a laugh-riot. And looking at the likes of Mallika Sherawat, Rahul Bose, Kay Kay Menon and Paresh Rawal coming together on a common platform for a fun ride, Maan Gaye Mughall-e-Azam promises to be a wacky soundtrack.
Review: Money Hai Toh Honey Hai

David Dhawan and Priyadarshan triggered off a trend, of making brainless comedies, and thus began a wave of leave-your-brains-at-home laughathons. Inspired by the success of these fares, every second film-maker decided to join the bandwagon for that elusive hit.
Review: Mission Istaanbul

Were all aware of this kind of filmslots of maar-dhaad, swaggering heroes impossibly taking on an army of bad guys, hot women, a misleadingly attractive film title that almost leads you on to believe that the film could be hat-ke.
Review: Contract

Ram Gopal Varma doesnt want Contract to be compared with Satya and Company. A futile request, really, because they deal with the same subject and the publicity urges you to look at Contract as a third in the trilogy.
Review 2: Kismat Konnection

There are films that weave the fantastical into the protagonists life with a nonchalant stance.
Review: Kismat Konnection

Simple stories, told in the simplest manner, have been the hallmark of all Aziz Mirza films, right from Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman to Chalte Chalte. The veteran's new outing is no exception.
Rock On!! (Music Review)

Let's directly get to the point. Mid-way through Rock On!! , you end up rubbing your eyes (and your ears) in disbelief.
Review: Khela is unforgivably churlish

Review: Khela
Review: Mehbooba

The name of the film is Mehboobaa point reiterated over a hundred times in the film through its dialogue and song lyrics, an old-hand technique once considered clever. This kind of literal referencing is grating, archaic and that is pretty much what can be said of the rest of the film.
Bachna Ae Haseeno

These are indeed exciting times for music coming out of Bollywood. Just recently we had Singh Is Kinng arriving with a bang and making a big impression. Now Bachna Ae Haseeno, too, has created a huge splash all over.
