Navagraha poster is out
Navagraha poster is out It is out and it is creating waves. The unique idea which blossomed in the mind of director Dinakar is reaping the rewards. It is nothing but a poster which is printed for the upcoming film Navagraha that is creating sensation in the state. The film features seven heroes who are the sons of the villains in Kannada cinema. Out of the seven fathers, all but one is alive today. The pictures of Toogudeepa Srinivas, Tiger Prabhakar, Sundarkrishna Urs, Dinesh, Sudhir, Lokesh and Keertiraj are on the poster along with their sons Darshan, Vinod Prabhakar, Nagendra Urs, Giri, Tarun, Srujan and Dharma respectively. The only one among the fathers who is alive is Keerthiraj and his family is getting calls from the media to inquire whether he is still alive or not!! The faces of the fathers will also appear in the movie at the time when the heroes are introduced, informed Dinaker. The faces of the fathers will be transformed to that of the sons and hopefully that will help in drawing more crowds to theatres. Already people have begun to appreciate the effort of Dinaker saying that the poster has brought back memories of yester years' talented actors who have vanished behind the curtain of time. Chamarajapet launched
Chamarajapet launched Kannada cinema's love affair with the underworld continues. Three recently-released movies (Arjun with Darshan, Maadesha with Shivrajkumar and Vamshi with Puneeth Rajkumar) dealt with life in the underworld and now, the recently-launched Chamarajapet is also going on the same track. The film, which was launched on 9th October, is a love story blossoming in the backdrop of gangsters' world. Surya Kiran is the director and Shwetha is the heroine. Its been quite a while since the super hit Nanda Loves Nandita has released, but we did not see the heroine Shwetha accepting any other film. The reason, of course, is that after Nanda Loves Nandita, a whole lot of offers came her way but after doing such a meaty role in a super hit movie, the actress did not want roles which did not require anything except dancing around trees and dropping tears. On top of that, the studious Shwetha was involved with her examinations. Fortunately, now the exams are over and she is free. Now that she can get back to her film career with no exams to distract her, she is all set to do Chamarajapet; her first Tamil film shot in Chennai is nearing completion. The story and script are also by the director. The title (Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro) is taken from the famous devotional song Krishna Nee Begane Baaro. The film will be a full-length comedy like Ramesh Aravind's previous films Rama Shama Bhama and Satyavan Savitri. Venkta in Sankta, for which the shooting is progressing, is also a full length comedy. Ramesh Aravind had plans to remake the Tamil film Kuselan in Kannada, but after the film's dismal show, he cancelled the project. Check out Photo Galleries of Kannada Movies and Artists.

Producer absconds after killing actor Vinodkumar, an upcoming actor was shot by producer Govardhana Murthy at a farm house outside Bangalore on Tuesday night and succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning in a private hospital. The incident has sent shock waves through Sandalwood. The reason for the shootout is said to be a land deal that went bad.
